Because these are natural stones, each bag is a mix of slate stones from 1/8 to 1/4 inches. This is are second to the smallest size slate and is a BEAUTIFUL addition to your scene or habitat!

Perfect scale for miniature models, wargaming and crafts as well as a topper for bonsai, succulents, miniature gardens and potted plants. An excellent gravel for aquascaping fresh and saltwater aquariums, and planted tanks. The deep grey/black color makes wood, plants and other inhabitants and decorations pop.

This gravel pairs perfectly with our larger stone that come in sizes from 1 to 10 inches for a cohesive, natural scene. As a natural stone, there may be some white or brown surface discoloration mixed in. These beautiful variations add a natural uniqueness and interest to the substrate.
